i had just gotten off of the freeway in my 535i, and was stoped bt the light, to be honest i dont mind being stoped by the light, because its one of those lights with a right turn/straight lane, wher you merge in ahead, i enjopy this cause you occasionaly get a good little race going. so im stoped at the light,in the left correct lane, and cars begin to line up behind me, i realize that i wont find the match im looking for from this line up, and i can see the side of the yellow, meaning it was about to turn. Suddenly i see a car speeding up along the row of vehicles that have gathered behind me, it had blue hid lights, so i knew it was somewhat of a nice car, he had timed himself perfectly and was rolling through the light at about 10 right when it turned green, he had the jump on me. I got on it in first and was soon neck and neck, at that time he realized it was not going to be so easy, so he began to punch it, i continued through gears and eventully took him and flashed my hazards in ricer style, triumph over the lexus SUCCESS

Yeah, that post is kind of useless for anything if you don't mention the model. ES250, GS300, SC430? Not even worth bragging about otherwise.

well the 525, is slllooowww. He drives a 535, its much quicker. Just because he was racing a lexus, im gonna guess it was an IS300, they are more prone to race than the other lexus models.

But it is all very *******-like isnt it? Has he taken his precious car on a track, during a club track day say? And seen if he can outdrive/outpace more powerful cars by not slowing down when theres a bend? Its not apparent...Since when was a lexus a car to beat for chrissake

I'm did not condone his actions, nor do I race on the street. I just drive enthusaistically at times.

As usual, I'm going to be a dick about this and wonder why it seems like a good idea to race around in traffic?

Sounds like a quick and easy way to get killed, kill somebody else, and/or (worse) raise my insurance premiums because we both happen to have cars that are manufactured by a company called "BMW".

speaking of Lexus...the new beautiful Lexus GS makes late model BMW's (excepting E-46) look like Hyundais.
My opinion of course.
