25mm wheel spacers on e34?

well i had a nasty shimmy with a 1/4 inch spacer on my car so id guess it wouldn't be much better with a inch of spacer, that and the fact that you would almost be spending the price of another set of wheels on spacers and lugs, theres too many wheels with proper offsets to go through that kind of agravating bull

They're cheap and look good, although I'm afraid I might get what I pay for.

they are probably non hubcentric and may or may not be fixable with rings to fit them to the hubs, the big problem is the e34 front end is just too sensitive to anything out of ballence even a little, if the bore of the wheels is 74mm they can be centered with the same rings that you use to mount e39 wheels to a e34/32's 72.5mm hub

It was suggested to me by a couple of different ex-dealership gurus that spacers and adapter kits (ie kit to make 3 series wheels fit the 5) were a bad idea, and they can cause numerous problems for the E34.

In the end, I had to go for a set of wheels that (due to the unique offset of the 5 series) are only made to fit the 5 series.

Yeah IIRC all e39 wheels require a hubcentric ring for use on the e34.

the real issue is being aftermarket they may not be to bmw spec and able to be centered with rings (have oversized bores)

Good quality spacers are no more dangerous than running without them. Make sure they are hubcentric and you'll be fine.

The wheel bolts do NOT support the weight of the car, and once it's torqued down the hub-wheel unit acts as one piece and is just as sound as running without them.
