window wont roll down?

the rear driver side window doesnt roll down anymore (stuck @ top position) i can hear the motor trying to move the window when i press the button though... What could it be?

search for window regulator.

Try holding the down button & slam the door shut. Sometimes the channels get gummed up & need a bit of a nudge to loosen them. Then spray the felt with silicone spray & should last quite awhile.
