Testing Load Leveling Accumulators

Is there any way to test my load leveling accumulators? Either on or off the car. 93 525iT

With the engine off, load the trunk with something heavy, like my mother-in-law. Then start the engine and ask m-i-l if she felt the car rise. Despite the temptation, now is not the best time to do a 1/4 mile run.
