power steering fluid

For power my
steering fluid- my car needs atf. So, does any atf work, as in synthetic,
dex 3,dex 2, etc? I just wanted to make sure before i stick something in that shouldnt belong there. TIA

I used Mobil synthetic ATF (2 containers) and used a turkey baster to remove the old reservoir fluid. Then start the motor and turn the steering full lock to full lock a couple of times. Stop the motor, use the turkey baster to remove all the fluid then refill. If you do this about 3/4 times, you will replace most of the old fluid and have nice synthetic in there!!
