My '91 535iM is officially for sale, replaced with a '01 325iM.
I will post the car in several places, once I take some pictures... I figured I'll give E34 fans a first shot. :)
I will take some new pictures tomorrow, but I might not be able to upload them until the weekend as my card reader is in Boston and I'm currently in NJ.
I am attaching one picture, the car still looks pretty much like that, except for the wheels which have been sold and I've installed M-tech lowering springs in front (no ugly gap).
I can't read my email or check the board during the day, so post here or email me kamil_13ATyahooDOTcom and I'll get back to you later tonight.
The only reason why I am selling this car is because I wanted something different. I've purchased the 325i, and I sometimes wonder if I did the right thing, the E34 is faster, more fun to drive and cheaper to own. :)

HISTORY:
I got this car off Tim "Enchanter" as part of a trade for my '88 M5 in February of '04. The original owner (BMW SCC member) traded it in to Tim's dealership with a bad clutch; Tim put in a new clutch and sold it to me. At the time, the car had 223k miles on it.
From the list of replaced parts, you'll see that most common E34 problems have already been addressed. As is, the car will need a new muffler soon and
maybe some brakes. All parts can be had cheaply here www.bimmerparts.com or from Steve Haygood.
PRICE:
Including all of the above, I will post the car at $3400 (once I take
pictures), but I will not take a penny under $3000. I realize that the
mileage is high, but the car runs great (very torquey) and everything works
on it (like A/C, power seats, heated seats, radio, sunroof, etc).
I have seen E34 535iM's with a little less than 130k miles sell for around
$6500, and I have seen E34 525 sell for more than $4500.
Why should you buy this car?
- M30 Engines last forever.
- Turbo potential (http://www.turbochargingdynamics.com/).
- Cheap parts (all OEM parts are still being manufactured).
- Most things that should go wrong already have
(http://www.bmwe34.net/e34main/trouble/what_will_break.htm).
- Cheap insurance.
- Good handling, quick, fun to drive. a bimmer.
