View Full Version : Want to see diff Tail Lights on your e34?
I photoshopped various tails onto this e34 to give me an idea of the look. Although my ride is the same color, this ISN'T my picture. I found it on the net but have not obtained permission to distribute... so please don't use it for commercial purposes!
I'm still deciding. #3 is nice, but seems a little too 'ricey'. Probably going to go with #4... classic look ;)
Unfortunately the upload limit is a little small so I had to compromise on the size and quality.
ENJOY!

I was thinking of doing a #3 as well... since my ride is white too... but then, IMO.. I decided to stick with OEM cuz it adds a little color to the car.
White turn signals look good on colored cars... but on white, it kinda looked a little too plain for me. That's just me though.

#1. I like oem lights... lol.
I've never understood the fascination with the clear lights, on any car.
although on a dark car, smoked... yeah.

1 or 4, 3 looks like a 960 volvo after they went clear in 95
I'm probably going with 4... to match the front cleared signals as well, mind you ;) Then I'll have the stock lower mouldings body matched.

I did full clears (no.4) to my alpinewhite E34.
It takes YEARS off the look of the car... even parking mine next to Dads alpinewhite E34 makes his look heaps older...

I like the original yellow. It gives the car a bit of a classic look.

I would go with #4, too. Actually, I WILL go with it when my budget allows me :) I have AlpinWeiss II and personally think clear blinkers are as clear as one should go, on these cars.

The original tails suit some cars but #4 is always stylish. However I've ordered a set of #2's just to try something different, will post pics later on how they look on a black car.

I still think OEM tails look the best, although I'd like to see what my oxford green looks like with some black hellas.

4, but for my Oxford Green I might try my hand at DIY smoking.

#4. though, i do admit, #2 isn't too bad. but i still think #4 is the best, and still retains the classic clean look of the e34 since it's an OEM part.
#3 i think is trying to give more of an e46 look, but i think it failed and gives the e34 more of an volvo look.

Do you have the part numbers for these? I can't find them in the Hella catalogue. TIA

4! My car is Alpine white, too,,,,I like that look best. It really does wonders to the rear end,,,as opposed to the yellows, without making it look like a volvo.
