Yes, I have a coax under the rearseat passenger side. It's not connected to anything. It has a sticker on it that says "Gerat" and "Transeiver". I'm thinking it has something to do with a mobile phone. (I don't have one). I have a picture of it but I can't figure out how to reduce the size of the file to get to upload to the site.

Yep, its for the the car phone, my pop installed car phones for a living for about 10 years, and he confirmed it. Have you also noticed the little speaker in the left corner of your dash

Yah, and I found what looks to be a speaker under the drivers dash near the pedals. It looks like one of those noise makers where you turn it over and it makes a cow sound...
I don't think its part of the stereo though.

CNET is a primitive cellular technology...The process of innovation brings smaller, lighter, and faster gadgets. whuddya expect from a 16+ year old system? :)
remember what they were selling as a "mobile" phone" in 1989? I don't, because the first time I ever saw one was in 1993, and it was a clunky box with a handset. And computers? 1989 was the era of the 386/33 w/ 4mb ram. So only needing three harnesses in an auto for a mobile phone must've been an amazing feat.

I have a mic on the A-pillar, and a RJ-45? jack around the e-brake. I also found a motorola module plugged in underneath the rear seat.
I wonder if it's still usable somenow... lol ;) Or refresh it for current technology hmmmm...
