Help - Radio wont accept code

I disconnected the battery to put the steering wheel on straight (it was a little off). When I reconnected the battery it asked for the code and when I enter the code it wont take. I disconnected the battery again for 30 minutes and tried again but it was no use. I am reading the code directly off the card. I might have entered it in wrong a few times initally since the card was in my wallet and I was driving.

Any ideas?

Also for that matter why the hell wont my LCD module display? it sucks not having a gear indicator, trip meter, and odometer.

After 3 unsuccessfull attempts, you need to keep the radio turned on for an hour before attempting to enter the code again.
