All this talk of rim sales/e-bay...anyone seen any decent deals offered in Canada new or used?? Really want to get rid of my basketweaves......
I have a hard time spending alot of money quite honestly as my car is a 1990 that I paid less than $6K for...so putting $2k in rims just doesn't seem feasible to me.....no offence! :p

Contact Bruno (he's in the Toronto area). He posted recently regarding a set of style 5s which I expressed interest in, but having bought a house, will not have cash at hand. He will be refinishing them and you're sure to get a great set of straight wheels.

yeah I know Bruno...but what is a style 5, I thought that is a basketweave of which I already have...Bruno is away till the 18th...can anyone confirm what this rim would be before I do something stupid and win a 3rd e-bay auction and get another frinkkin set of 3 series rims!!! Thanks... What is the size of a style 5?

it is a basketweave style, but it has rivets around the center section, and a machined lip. 17x8" is the size of the rim.

ahh, well going to hold off, the last two cars I have had (grand-prix se, then a GTP) all had the "basketweave" looking rims...I am tired of trying to keep them clean! Would rather for for a nice clean 5 star (m-parallel) look.

I'm in the same boat. I only paid ~$4800 for my 89 535iM and can't justify $1600 18" Parallel-M with Pirelli rubber! ;)

My parents spend 6 months in florida and are about to return to Canada in two weeks with their 5th wheel...so I could get something from the USA and have them shipped to them and they will bring them up for me. What are the best USA deals out there right now?
