View Full Version : Leather Care...
The black leather is showing dull splotches everywhere with some parts that are glossy black. Conditioner does no good. Think of elephant skin with some parts shiny. The leather itself isn't cracked. What to do?
As far as I can see, the next step would be something like Lexol. Suggestions? I can get pics up ;)

You don't want to use lexol at all; that stuff softens but doesn't restore tensile strength.
I'd restore and redye with Leatherique or Colorplus.
Here are a few pics of my before/after (note that my driver's was heavily cracked and cut in a spot) using leatherique's stuff and some space age fabric (for the split) invented and patented by a friend.
