Kidney Grille

does anyone know if the chrome kidney grille covers come off or do you have to take the whole grille section out to get them from behind or something? thanks

the chrome kindey grill has about 8 clips per grill that attach it to the center part. When removing mine they broke off, so now I live without them.

You'll have to take the grill "wing" piece off (the white metal piece in BigKriss' photo) out first, then you can get at the back of it. The black trim pieces and the chrome pieces snap together with the metal wing piece sandwiched in-between the two. Kriss is right, you'll break the plastic tabs that hold it all together (on the chrome piece) taking it apart. -The chrome (really plastic) and black grill pieces are fairly cheap to replace.
