for those that have them...did you spray paint the bulb amber/orange?

Not sure I understand your question, but I was bulb shopping today and saw a variety of amber bulbs that had a thin silvery coating over the amber color. I imagine they'd look less obvious in an application like this than an ordinary amber bulb would.
