HISTORY:

I got this car as part of a trade for my ’88 M5 from Tim, a.k.a. "The Enchanter" from mye28.com. At the time, the car had 223k miles on it, and it was brought into Tim's dealship with a bad clutch.

From the list of replaced, you’ll see that most common E34 problems have already been addressed. As is, the car will need a new muffler soon. All parts can be had cheaply here www.bimmerparts.com or from Steve Haygood.

PRICE:
Including all of the above, the price is $3400. I realize that the mileage is high, but the car runs great (very torquey) and everything works on it (like A/C, power seats, heated seats, radio, sunroof, etc). I have seen E34 535iM’s with a little less than 130k miles sell for around $6500, and I have seen E34 525 sell for more than $4500.

The car is located in Northern NJ, but I drive to Boston almost every weekend, so the car can be seen there too, and in CT. My email addy is kamil_13ATyahooDOT.com or you can just post here.

Hehe - if you want to part it out, I'll take the manual conversion kit.

Pics look nice, though :)

lowell, have ya tried The Euro Depot for those conversion parts? I know for sure they have a 92 blk/tan 535iM....... and it's completely immaculate except for the folded front bumper and radiator mount.

if this was for sale next year around this same time, and on the west coast. I would have bought it. =)

hola,
nope, not getting rid of anything or parting anything out.

I think that car is a great deal as is, the wheels & tires are almost brand new (that's a gran right there), springs ($200 + install and alligment).... just buy the whole damn thing. :)

Very good condition considering age and especially mileage.

Peter - actually, I haven't...although that's good to know. I might call them up tomorrow and see if they'll give me a *deal* (because...I'm always looking for 'em). I'm halfway joking about this, though. My ultimate intention is to pop in an M70 and a six speed -- maybe in a few months, when the cashflow, prorities and tools are lined up.

Kamil....I would definitely be buying it if I didn't already have Fritz to deal with...I'm going to ask around though -- I have a friend who's looking.

I don't mean to be a dick, and I certainly agree that your car appears to be in excellent condition and a superb deal -- but the wheels cost a grand?! WoW.

HAHA.... it was something like $400 for the rims (virtually brand new, the owner of the 750 replaced them w/ Hammans right after he bought the car) and another $360 (shipped for tires) + mounting and balancing..... and then I bought the winter wheels/tires.
