Yep! You'll need to work a second job to pay for the gas! ;)

Josh...absolutely beautiful!
...been thinking about picking up a w126 or maybe a w118 one of these days to putz around with, but the e34's been taking up a lot of my attention. Having said that, two of my good friends are merc fanatics and drive w126's (a 380sel and a 560sel -- both very nice cars), so we talk about mechanicals.
But your dad's is stunning. Have you ever seen the flick Buffalo Soldiers with Joaquin Phoenix? An SEC is "featured" in it.

Haha, Good observations, I didnt notice that. It will be getting a drop on H&R springs and bilstein shocks (unless koni makes an application for the car). We are also getting some 18' AMG II monoblock or BBS LM's (why my dad likes them on this car, I dont know). I wish I had the same budget as him. hehe. :D

if you choose the AMG Monoblocks, you will need the SL set-up and 245/40-18 tires. Personally, I like them, but now way in God's name would I install Bilsteins w/ H&R springs. If you install that combo and 18' wheels IT WILL RIDE LIKE A TRUCK FOR SURE. WARNING, WARNING, DANGER WILL ROBINSON

lol, i enjoy your comments pml. your one of several people on this bored who seem to be "in the industry," so to speak, and have a lot of advice the rest of us won't have access to otherwise. even if some don't agree with your opinions or assesments at times.

Hmm...Those are exactly the tires I was thinking about. So, what do i do about lowering the car and keeping it near stock ride? From what I can see, if I add some 18's rims, the gap would look humongous.
Edit: And thank you for your insight. I appreciate your presence on this board. = :D
