Power Seat Fixable?

One of the position controls on my driver seat does not work...is this fixable? I can hear the motor but no movement.

search for twisted seat.

you unscrew the cable connection, cut the cable sheath about 1/4 inch and re-install the connector. search for more details.

Its in my maintenance records, dealer charged $400 to a previous owner.
