Hi all i'm new to this forum and from the, I have a 1991 535i sport manual and would like to find out two things.
1.Where can I find the tempreature sensor?
2.How much lower than a standard 535i is my 535i sport.
Any help much apprieciated

What temp sensor? Ambient air or cooling system?

The ambient air sensor is down by the driver side foglight. There is a little hole in the cover to the left of the light. The cover comes off by pushing the tab in to the far left side of the cover.
Ride height, I don't know the answer.... My guess 1/2" to 3/4" if at all... It might just have stiffer springs...

i think the ride heights are actually enumerated in the bentley manual.If your car is actuallya sport it will ride slightly lower than non sport cars.I would say but a freind has my bentley.

ambient air...for the OBC display?I think our cars have tree (and maybe another temp sensor
1)Ambient air
2)Coolant temp sender
3)coolant temp sender for dme
1)maybe another for intake air temp for dme

Thanks for your help, have found the sensor(ambient air) and have a bentley manual on the way, should be here in a couple of days.
