What is the best place to get them? I'm looking for styles 63 or 72. I know that one of the members got 72s. How are they?

Sadly I can't help with any Rondell wheels. They are imported directly and exclusively by www.thewheelexchange.com, and I don't deal with those people and probably never will HINT HINT WINK WINK.
I did see however that AFS Wheels aka-Moven wheels, is now importing the latest AC Schnitzer replica [IMG]http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7972035723&category=43958 18x8.5 et+15. Amazingly they are under $420 DELIVERED !!!!!!
Hope this helps.
PS I still have 1 set of RD Sport Style RD2 18" staggered still available. $1250 delivered

They're the people who mysteriously have a picture of my car in their gallery (here (http://www.thewheelexchange.com/galleries_bymake/make/bmw/bmw_gallery11.html) - second column on the top. Compare to this (http://home.comcast.net/~rjchristie2/SA/535i/1635md.JPG) and this (http://home.comcast.net/~rjchristie2/SA/535i/mobcar4.jpg))
That makes me famous. PM me for autographs. :D

I got my Rondell 58's at Bekkers Imports from a fellow board member John. Don't have the # or website close by but a quick search should bring them up.

Search through ebay for Rondell... one seller is a major wheel dealer and then look at their website.

I'm looking to spend no more than $800 on rims + tires. I would like them to have deep lip too.

If buying new....good luck with that :D
Even getting a decent set of used ones will be tough for <= $800. Mine were $822 shipped, and they have some dings/rash/tires will need to be replaced before next winter.
EDIT: I think it's smarter to buy wheels for the summer during the winter. Now that we're deep in spring, people on eBay are bidding up stuff that would've previously gone for a lot less $$$.

Hamanns on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=7972109857&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT) I found some used ones on ebay, but I won't bid on it. My funds have declaimed drastically because of M5 body kit project. Side skirts alone costed me around $400. I think I'll wait few more weeks and look into hammans.
