So, continuing my quest to spend money on this car, I present the following:

EBC Sport 334x32mm vented rotors up front, EBC Sport 328x20mm vented rotors in the rear, wilwood forged billet superlite 4 piston calipers all around. Custom caliper carriers being made sometime soon.

Wasn't fond of the EBC gold "zinc plating", but I got the rotors for $200 for all four. They're just for prototyping the carrier brackets; I'll be switching to standard PowerSlot rotors for the real deal.

More details, please. Are the rear rotors the same as the factory Nurburgring setup? What kind of pads are available? Will the calipers fit under 16" wheels, or are 17s required?

The rear rotors are the same size as the Nurburgrings, yes. Pad selection for the forged superlite is kind of sparse, but Wilwood also makes a forged Dynalite with the same mounting specs that I believe has a better range of pads (ie, stuff from sources OTHER than Wilwood themselves.) As far as squeezing these under 16" wheels, it's not real likely, but I'll have to have final mounting diameters before I can say if they'll fit under 17". As it sits now, the outside diameter of the caliper will be just over 14" I think.

If anybody knows where to get aftermarket slotted rotors for the FRONT of the Nurburgring setup, PM me :D

Hmmm...I was thinking of putting a Wilwood set-up on my Charger but didn't think the brakes on the 540i/6 were too bad?

I'm sure the stock 540i setup performs well. 302x28 vented up front is respectable. My reasons for developing this are twofold: I wanted to fill out my wheel space a little better :p and also, I'm going to be packaging these up in kits for E31/E32/E34/E38/E39(?).

I haven't finalized the costs on everything yet. I'm well below my preliminary target for doing all 4 wheels. I'll know more after next week once the carriers are made and I can get quotes on production costs. Final kit costs will be determined by a few options (6 piston calipers up front, or smaller lighter 4 piston units all around) and any kind of discounts I may be able to secure on parts.

Nice setup, Shaun...can't wait to see how it all works out. Yep, it'll definitely fill out the wheels! :D

ill venture a guess of around $1500, most brembo bbkits i've seen are usually $2k for the front only
