View Full Version : Fuel cut out switch (bwm 525i)

Is there anybody out there that can help me with this problem ..my battery ran flat so i replaced it with a new one and now my car wont start it will turn over but not fire is there a fuel cut out switch on this model if so where is it only i have looked high and low for it ..or is it another problem i dont know about ..

Check the main relay, fuel pump relay in the pass side ebox, near the dme. The crank position sensor may also be the cause of this fault, but less likely in coincidence with battery replacement. The relays can be jumped at pins 30 & 87 for testing.

Thank you for replying back have tried that but no differance..am still stumped.. has this vehical got a fuel cut out switch ??? am starting to rip my hair out ...lol..

This probably sounds daft, but have you checked your battery connections, fusible links, red wires that go to the battery,earth grounding cable etc etc etc. If it was running before the battery was changed then there must be a problem with cabling.
