I have to say, the X-type 3.0 is a fun car to drive. My mother-in-law has a 2003 automatic that is fun. It launches like a dragster and handles really well. (At least it did until it met up with that Mercury Sable... crunch.)
Anyway, I bet the estate would be a nice car to drive, an alternative to the 3 series touring.

Funny how the "new" styling is so similar to the BMW's of a decade ago. Jealousy? Or has Ford finally copied a decent design.

of the new XJ6 which is just a derivative of the original series 1 XJ6 from 1969. So who copied who? :p

Is the same body pan as the Taurus gussied up nicely and a better engine. My vote for wifes next car to replace our '94 Touring (nothing wrong yet) could well be the 3x
