too many variables to give a cost. matters where and what kind of cylinder they get you...new or rebuilt, what their rates are etc. Call around and find out what parts their going to use first.

Their labor is around 60 an hour. I just want to get a ballpark so i can be prepared. Its always better to let it settle in before hand. I used to hate picking the car up and have it be way more than expected... never a good feeling.

for me, the rule of thumb is always go with new unless its so exspensive that it's goiing to keep you from doing other things to your car.

check BMA for the new/rebuilt price. figure two hours, maybe 3? i'm sure i could do it that fast with good tools and not a v-8 engine.

i also bet patrick at bma will know what goes into a 'rebuild'

Usually contain all new rubber parts, pistons, check valves, springs and clips.

They just recycle the body and reserviors.

If you are brave you find kits and do it yourself.
