Thanks again for your insight and support about the seals on the tranny.
I was sure that I had replaced the shifter shaft seal back when I first got the car, along with some other items on the driveshaft during the "winter sanity program"...
Reguardless, you pointed out to me that the shifter shaft seal was probably the culprit, and I should have changed it while it was up in the air. Oh well, a job done well is worth doing twice....not....Now I'm happy to report to you that after another round trip to Chicago, not one drop has dripped. Plus, the new accumulators have stopped the right rear shock from seeping too! Not to mention a much better ride. The next project is Koni's for the fronts.
Sure you don't want to come up for the Chicago pic-nic in August???
Thanks again,
Jr
