In the so far fruitless pursuit of an E34 Touring, I stumble across one that is Kashmir Beige...
The photos are not really adequate, to tell if this is one of 'those' uninspiring colours, or if its cool enough to be a good base on which to build a super-sexy Touring.
Anybody with a Kashmir beige E34, email me some pics. Try to get a nice radiant one in the sun...
Email is nick.hay@bigpond.com
I really want a silver one, but is kashmir beige close enough?? Or should I wait??
Cheers,

depends if ur gay or not. at least u might be able to get the price down a bit if its really that horrible. most colours look good with a shadowline option. its just as good to find a decent car with a good history regardless of colour. how much anyway ? doesnt seem to be that many tourings about ,at least in good nic anyway.

No, not gay (tho, that would be easier than trying to find Mrs. Right)
Touring is about $18k AUD

This thing has been on the market for what must be approaching six months.
Offer him $14k and walk away. He'll contact you if he's serious. Crunch him at $15k take it or leave it... provided of course it's not a lemon! ;)
Of course it's a dealer and he'll moan and complain it's under cost. :p

obviously its gonna be negotiable. its looks ok and ive seen this colour and its not bad at all. i have a 93 540i with 220k on it and its only just needing some minor work. if its straigt as and nice on the inside i reckon for about 15-16k its a goer. ur in tassie right? im up the cental coast, going to syd later this week. i'll have a look if u want or maybe big kriss might b free one day. or maybe ur not in a hurry and the wait for a silver one is on the cards. i think silver looks like a very standard colour, off the shelf as it were. my wife says chicks would like it. post again if u want my number, and ill go look.

If you are familiar with bronzit then this is almost the same color. I would definately say wait, but colors are a personal thing.
Naahh, not gay, no not gay, just a bit girlie.....

If that is a car being sold in Chippendale by the company whose name sounds quite elderly, I would suggest an extra amount of caution.
Recent negotiations over another marque from the same source led to the conclusion that honesty and truth might not be a large part of that organisation's methodology. The conclusion reached was that their attitude was one of "there will always be a sucker out there to buy it, no matter what is wrong with it".
I have no knowledge about this particular car, but would advise maximum caution.

and I like better than green or blue but would have preferred white or red. (missing fender trim is now on). ;-) Found someone had left the o-ring out of the transmission drain plug today (leaking) which accounted for being 1 1/2 quarts low and delayed upshifts. Seems ok now.
Anyone heard of B&G springs? I'm looking into buying a set to get the front lower but don't know much about them. H&R doesn't import the wagon self-leveling springs anymore according to Turner Motor Sports.

He declined taking my 535i... He's got my details, but Im not pushing him. I'm not trading a spot-on 535i on a lemon Touring :)

If that's the car I think it is, it's at the Old Timer Centre in Sydney.
It looked quite nice when I had a look last weekend. They also have a very nice 735iL as well (in navy blue).
I just bought a 1994 530i in Sterling Silver with black leather interior!
She's HOT!!

I've got a cashmere beige touring. It's a little lighter than the brone-zits. But I wouldn't call it gay exactly!
I would however advise against it. I've talked with a number of people with this color who have had paint problems - like mine. It gets what looks like tiny cracks all over the place. I've taken it to high dollar and shade tree places and none of them will touch it. "It's shot". I can get it to look decent with a good wax, but it only lasts a couple weeks.
On the bright side, now I have an excuse for not washing and obsessing over it's looks. And it does EXACTLY match the color of our north carolina red dirt!
PM me and I'll send some pics if you haven't given up on it yet.

What colour is that leather on the seats & door trims ?
I hope that is the film / camera and not its real colour.
Reminds me of American cars of the 80-s. :D
