1992 525i needs a new fog light

So what is the deal with all the different part numbers for E34 fog lights? I found some on Ebay, but they say the only fit years 89-90 and 94-95. Will these work on my 92, and what would be different?

they should work, I noticed that when I ordered mine, dont know why they label them like that. I got the ellipsoid ones, soo much better than the old stockers.

Some BMW fog lights used a H1 bulb while other fog lights used a 9006 bulb. The connector to the fog light is different.

yes, you will probably have fun with matching the correct connectors...I did. That is about the only difference, they will all physically fit. The elipsoid takes the funky connector, way different than the crappy stock fogs connector socket.
