I found this listing to be rather humerous.

Bet you the mileage is doctored -- check out the wear on the seat.

"Wheels worth $8,000"
Makes my T-Stars with 80% Toyo's for $1,100 U.S. seem like a bargain!
If it was a genuine Alpina B10 then it's possibly worth 10k but I'd prefer a Bi-Turbo myself! :p
BTW - Does anyone know what genuine Alpina cotton reels go for?
$8000 sounds steep!

I sourced a set of 19" (they don't make the 17"s for the e34 anymore) "classic" rims from Alpina. $2000 a piece.
My advice is to keep your eyes open for a nice used set. Jon's right on the money about those prices. Depending on the seller's knowledge, rim condition, and market the price should be anywhere from $1500 (for a set tht needs some love) to around $3000.

those are not OEM wheels, they are made by Highline and are all 4 18" x 8"

These are not even Alpina replicas. They're BMW style 32 replicas, from a seller with a HORRID feedback rating. oemstyles4less is the notorious highline wheels, and they're nothing but trouble. Their other user id's are filled with negative responses and questionable auctions giving them positive feedback by the dozens (curiously, always right around the time they've received a negative response or three) for auctions containing GROCERY COUPONS.

Not even made by Highline. SOLD BY Highline, undoubtedly made cheaply in some Asian country. pmlmotorsports probably knows every inch of these wheels, if he's around. Redgardless of supposed wheel quality, the seller has an atrocious past, and is best avoided. There are better deals elsewhere.
