unless you're fitting bigger brakes and calipers i don't think it looks that great painting the stock ones. if u really wanna paint them then i'd go for black just to tidy them up.

i'd say make them stand out as much as possible so go with yellow. Black, you won't really see the calipers, red is what everyone else goes with, blue is unique. hmm i haven't seen blue calipers before. yellow, yellow, yellow. If you don't want them to stand out though. I'd say leave them unpainted.

I like the SILVER. RED or YELLOW looks like "Fast and the Furious"... With BLACK, you can't really see the calipers... And BLUE just does't look right unless you have a BLUE car (my opinion)... SILVER looks classy! :)
MY CAR WITH SILVER CALIPER PAINT (I used G2 brand). Friends tell me that my silver painted calipers look GOOD while the wheels are spinning since the spokes becomes transparent while spinning. :D

Looks like Black is the leading champ.
I am thinking Blue now... Would make sense too... it would match the roundel cap!

Make sure you post some pictures once you do it, I would do red if my car was a little less stock. Black/silver is probably going to be unocitable.
Silver will actually retain internal heat. Black will radiate that heat better (if you drive hard enough to get brakes hot...)
Okay, so picked up Blue today. The rims aren't here yet so I think I'll hold off so I don't have to take off the wheels twice.

This guy not only rebuilds the calipers (something that should be done every 75k or so) He can Polycoat them any color you want.
I had painted my calipers before and was dissapointed with the results after 40k miles - they looked like hell.
When I did all the work on my car last fall I sent them out here - and they are great. the dust does not adhere to them at all and they are really visible through the BBS RSGT wheels.
The guy is great to work with and can do most colors you want. - JT

gloss holds heat and flat conducts it..wonder if krinkle black like BBQ paint is on that list?
Here they are... now to wait for the new rims!
Unfortunately because I'm just using a floor jack, I have to do them one at a time. I might wait to do the other three... or just take one each day.
NB: Picture quality is subpar... it's a phone, plus it's night time.

eeek! no one can love it as you should.
I wouldn't either... if the color didn't match the roundel :)
It's a love it or hate it... like the BMW Z9

Personally, black or silver doesn't do much for me. Red... too ricey in my opinion. I actually held a box of yellow for a moment before I decided blue.

John,
I've been looking at Goldline to rebuild my calipers, but they don't list any pricing or timetables. How much was the rebuilding and the total turn around?

I overnighted them to him - He did them the next day. Takes 1 in his shop. He overnighted them back and they were beautfiul.
Cost was $125 per Caliper for rebuilding and Polycoating. Call them - they are wonderful to work with.
