hi .. I'm converting my car into manual tranny instead of Auto. I was talking some a guy in bimmer and he supposed that the ratio is 3.91 ... any ideas what is should be for japanese specs?

till November 1989: 3.91
from November 1989: 4.27

the 535i in japanese version was delivered with automatic transmission only.
