540 rough idle

Just cleaned my K&N filter, put it back and tried to fire up the engine. Took longer to start and now idles very rough with black smoke with moisture coming out the exhaust. Any ideas on what gives.

try rebooting it and see if that helps first.

you might have pulled it off somewhere. could also be a lose connection for the maf.
if you re-oiled the filter you might have to much on it & it got sucked up onto the maf.
