I like the drifting on the track. At first I got the impression the guy was a novice... but he held the turn okay.

From a service and technology standpoint it makes an e39 m5 look like a bargain. "Yeah that 7 speed gearbox took a dump - going to have to ask for $23,000 to replace that unit - oh yeah - and the fluid is $79 a quart."

that's tiff needel, he's had a lot of racing experience but his biggest claim to fame it seems is leading the lemans 24hr for 3 laps or something, in a lister storm... not much success otherwise, but he's a good driver.

he was co-host(?) of Top Gear on BBC1 (i think), until he made a comment about nazis and was told to go, so now he hosts 5th gear, which i think is actually better cause i prefer him and vicky butler henderson over jeremy clarkson and his little sidekick!

btw the video is awesome but he kept the mclaren F1 on the track with less effort than he did the M5 !

He was fangin' it hard.... but gratuitously for the camera. I would never treat a car like that like that. But hell it must be tempting... esp. when it's 'a lender' and he cna give the keys back minus 10mm of rubber... what an awesome time. No wonder BMW insisted he read the manual first... LOL

I was wondering what happened to Tiff. His e39 m5 review on Top Gear was excellent.

Yeah Tiff is great. His E39M3 and E46 M3 reviews were the greatest I have ever seen. Fun, concise, entertaining and detailed.

Clarkson is a wosey... but his wit and ignorance can be entertaining ... at least
