So, I'm sitting here to ask anybody if they need their car detailed. This is so I can pay for books and stuff next semester along with new toys =). Good luck with the new venture, Josh!

Too bad I a) don't live anywhere near California, and b) Fritz doesn't have any paint...else I'd be your first customer.

best, whit

Too far away from me. Plus I kind of enjoy keeping my car looking good myself, but I'm hope you get some customers.

Seems to be the problem with posting this on enthusiast sites. :D

Thanks.

Two business references:

1)Does Macy's tell Gimbels. This is in reference to business plans but easily stretches to every man for himself.

A better one may be:

2) One attorney in a town may starve. Two attorneys in a town and both will make money.

Don't worry bout the toes. Your ad will probably help the other guy, especially if you do like major corporations and collaborate or conspire.

Here's the real deal. If your car really looks as good as the pics, put a sign on it and hang around or drive around down in the financial district at noon. You know, college student trying to earn money for habit and first semester tuition. Maybe you can make TV or the Chronicle.

Guess I'm dating myself from the 60s. Better place to show might be Silicon Valley but you need people out of their cars or waiting for stop light to have time to read the sign.
Get some Tule racks so yoiu can have a large vert sign on top.
