View Full Version : Where the heck is this part?

You know the plastic covereing parts on either side of the front seats? you know, they house the seat controls/seat heating/etc?

ok well mine seem to have turned this nasty brown color form the sun, which doesn't match the rest of the interior anymore. ( the kick pannels have done the same thing... all the other plastic in the car has retained its original color... strange)

I took one off but the part number isn't in the ETK. further more, it has 2 too many digits to be a normal part number...

I can't find a part number even similar when i look my car up.

inside it's stamped "E 32-52-10-1938-305"

well all the seat covering parts start 52-10-x-xxx-xxx

but only one of them uses 52-10-1-938-xxx
but the last three digits don't match. hmmm

what to do, what to do.

I'm looking for number 1. in pergament (parchment). oh, and note there are 3-4 different versions...... interesting.

The part number is 52101938305 and the original part number has been replaced with another. Since I'm at work, I do not have my binder with me. I will check to see what the part numbers are once I get home from work. I recently purchase new seat skirts for my E34. Another alternative would be to contact your local BMW Parts Dept. Give them the part number and they will be able to tell you the correct part number to order.

oh wow, thanks :) if you can do that, that'd be awesome! But considering i need all 4 of them i'll probably take the dealership route instead of hasseling you with looking them all up, unless yours were electic/parchment as well and you've just got the parts list laying around =D

Drivers/left: 52-10-8-140-307
Drivers/right: 52-10-8-154-498

Passenger/left: 52-10-8-154-497
Passenger/right: 52-10-8-140-308

Pergamentt/electric; All according to the ETK.

pergament is listed 3 times though, for each piece, and at least at realoem it doesn't distinguish between them at all. but i guess this means you've done yours? thanks.

Realoem lacks some of the handy descriptions and data about optioned parts.

In the ETK, it's made real clear which parts are for manual seats, electric, etc.
