I took her in today to have some work done:
1. Water pump.
2. Throttle cable.
3. Steering pump hose - I don't know which one.
4. Inspection on the front end suspension (recommendations?)
5. Tension pulley is squeaking, again.
and finally, 6. My tires were balder than a female porn-star's crotch.
As for the tires, my indy recommended Toyo PX4's. I looked them up on the net and found them to be a decent looking tire. They will be mounted on some aftermarket //M5 rims that I got from AAA tire about 2 years ago. The old tires were Yokohama MXP4's (235/45R17).
They were unidirectional, and I did rotate them every 10k and keep inflated at 32PSI, but they wore poorly after the first year.
Of course, I did check their road-worthness quite often, and they did break very well.
Does anybody have any experience with the Toyo PX4's? Like them/dislike them? They don't seem as agressive as the Yoko's, but that's ok.
Let me hear it.
