I changed my coolant sensor last weekend on my 95 525i M50 engine. Had a bit of difficulty in getting the new one tight. Not much room under there. Think it leaks a little.
What type of wrench should I use?
BTW, I still get the coolant level light-but not all the time. I think it s electrical. Now going to check the wiring.
Thanks in advance

The wrench is the problem as I stated in my first post on this issue. I cannot find any small open end wrench or plyers to fit so I can tighten the plastic nut. The area is very constricted. Am I missing something here?

I broke my coolant sensor by over-tighting it. I changed mine by removing the radiator. I really don't think that you have tighten it that hard to stop any leaks (its plastic).

Use a pipe thread sealant or teflon tape.
