I just replaced the thrust arms on my E28 535is. Since i did that the shaking in my front end has gotten worse. What should i try next.

Not that it would amplify the problem, but were the bushings torqued with the car's weight on the suspension? Also, check the lower control arms -- get a pair of water pump pliers on the ball joint and check for play. Could also be rotor related, but check the control arms (and steering links while you're at it) first.

I had my upper control arm replaced the other day and it shimmyd worse after
I got the wheels balanced and it cleared up most of the problem...
But just around 55 it still has a shake!

has to be something off..like Lowell said it could be the rotors, or an out of round tire/bent wheel etc.

ANY play in the front can cause a shake/shimmy.
