What do you guys think of this??
"my old boss told me to put a shotglass worth of tranny fluid in my brake fluid to stop leaks"
"says it will make the rubber seals expand"
Interesting. I wqas under the impression brake fluid wasn't petrolem based and was a lot more like antifreeze than it was an oil. *shrug*

how bout fixing the problem?! you don't really want to screw with the thing that keeps you from becomming a projectile? without bleeding how is the atf supposed to get down to the leak anyway and if it's leaking that bad.....

Hmmm... I sometimes get a creaky left knee joint in cold weather.
Might try drinking half a pint of Mobil 1 to see if the creak goes away! :D

Better ask him again. You're suppose to use a shot glass of BRAKE FLUID in the tranny or power steering to swell seals and stop leaks. I can vouch for this trick working in a PS system in a 1964 Buick.
