Kamado... phonetically similar to "Quemado", which is Spanish for "Burned."
Which, depending on your cooking style may be a good omen...

Couldn't possibly do justice to the best steaks in the world - grass fed Simmental x Hereford cattle from my farm in the Southern Highlands of NSW ! :p
The only thing you need is a HOT hotplate BBQ and some Robertson spuds.
Its all good ! :D

i think you could get the same effect with one of those egg things and some header tape, wonder how that'd work on a webber but it wouldn't look as good

outrageously priced!
if you're serious about outdoor cookin', you need a chargriller barrell style full size grill, with the heavy duty cast iron cooking grates.

a grill and sort of an deifying worship symbol... If it's like the outrageously expensive Home Depot's Glen Canyon grill, then it's a must-have... :o\

cooking it out on the grill anyway so i don't stink up the house with the taint of meat... ewww. She's been working on me to eat more fruit and greens but I don't think i could ever give it up completely...

A $20.00 weber is all you need, it burns food just as easily as a 5k grill. I just got a small gas grill, my neighbor was moving and didn't want it. Already tossed some bison on it one weekend, grilled some peaches the other morning for breakfast.

I can burn that in a gruelling and heinous mountain bike ride. The problem is afterwards; burning off a full rack of pork ribs, greasy onion rings, a 12 oz creamy NY-style cheeze cake along with a strawberry shake... power on...
