my m5 thrust arm bushing are not even 15,000mi. old & i am starting to get a
small intermitting shimmy at 55-60. i don't think the issue is wheel balancing.
i am running michelin XTG V4's. bmw did not have hunter 9700 wheel balancers when they manufactured these cars.
so, next february i plan on replacing my springs, struts, shock, mounts, subframe bushing, dogbones, thrust arms w/bushing, alum. control arms w/bushings, upgraded sway bars, sway bar bushings, & tie-rods. i have already replaced my center link & idler arm with bmw dealer parts 6 months ago.
unfortunatly i must put up with this small shimmy till then.
