hooked the car back up, electrically everything works ok. one thing, however, was that the car would start to buck and hesitate when driven from a stop, and that the stopped D idle was a little lower than usual. after driving it about 20 miles, however, the D idle is back to where it used to be, there's no more bucking from acceleration, and decent power, just that the parked idle is a wee bit higher than usual......is this normal? as after my initial charging system failure, my car was off battery for about 8 hours, until i charged it and took it for a spin, until batt voltage was about 11.21 or so. any thoughts?

Your DME lost certain adapted values. It should be back to normal after you drive it 300 miles or so. Are you going to install that chip you won?

i just wanted to make sure everything was in order before i changed, save I mask symptoms of it not running right.
