Car stopped running

I knew the car was going to be a project, this new problem was not part of the plan. The more I read through this forum, the more I get sucked into learning about and fixing up my car.

Today the car stopped running. I had been on the highway for about 25 minutes and about 50 feet from my destination the car simply stalled. The engine will crank, but it won't turn over. Could it be the fuel pump or the relay?

i had a faulty fuel pump relay once, but after the car stalled i just had to let it sit for 10-30 seconds and it would start again... so perhaps the fuel pump would be the first thing to check

check the fuel pressure at the injector rail, if no pressure then check relay and fuses.
