View Full Version : Best choice for lower suspension with OEM ride and handling?

My shocks are going, and I want to lower my car.
I want to preserve the stock ride and handling as much as possible. My main concerns are aesthetics, refinement and value -- not creating a track weapon.
Discuss. :)
I think MTech springs and Boge shocks would be best for that.
I have Eibach springs and Boge shocks and its not harsh for as far as I can tell.

I like the lowered look if you go to larger rims and tires, otherwise for aesthetics, I like the "hair cut" of stock with 15 inch rims.
I agree with the M-Tech suggestion.

Thanks.
I should have said this earlier: with your recommendation, please tell me where I could get it and the approximate cost.

Many swear by the Sachs kit. I have this kit and love it.

Any good place to get this stuff in Canada -- particularly the Sachs kit?

I don't see the Sachs stuff there. What parts am I looking for, exactly?

Jay, call Patrick @ BMA, mention the forum/.info. I don't think the discount applies to the kit, but who knows. Either way, it's best to call BMA -- the web site isn't indicative of their service or prices.

Okay, cool. I'll call when I'm ready. Wheels first. :)

if you call you get the discount over the web prices, when ordering from them on the net you need to add .info to get the discount. Anyways they will hook you up with the right stuff and their shipping is outstanding compared to the "other" places I have tried.

They (BMA) drop ship from Sachs in Cleveland, OH. Got mine in 2 days.
Make sure you buy all the misc. parts and pcs for the complete installation. Patrick or Ives will know what you need. By the way, the ride and handling are excellent!
