M5 bumper upgrade ... will fog lamps fit?

Hey guys... are there different versions of the fog lamps for the E34? I have an 89 and I wanted to get an M5 bumper for it. Will my fogs still fit? Is there anyway to find out if they will fit before I order the M5 bumer? Thanks!

they should fit, the 2 different ones are one is regular and the other is elipsoid, minor connection diffs, the last one is mounted retarded and cant be used on the newer style bumper...case and point, replace them with elipsoids if they dont fit. 100 bux on ebay...make sure you seal them before you put them on tho.

Ok... ellipsoids are 'projectors' right (All my lights...lo, hi, fogs... run off H1 bulbs)? I opened mine up and they have a lens inside. When switched on, you only see a round light... not a rectangular one. I'm guessing that with the regular ones, the whole rectangular lens lights up? So ellipsoids fit the M5 bumper? Great! Thanks!

Yup..that's them. They look like round lights when on. So the regulars are the odd fitting ones? And these (ellipsoids) will fit the M5 bumper?

mine is a euro car and being an iS(ie aM5 replica) it has the 3.6 m5 front bumper,and as far as i know the fog lights are standard bmw issue.I will have a look in the etk,pm me yourno chassis ....(last 7 numbers of your vin)
