91 M5

Ok so the E32 i went to go see a few weeks back was not worth the 20k US that the guy wanted for it. Thanks to the replies i received, i did pick up rust at the rear and decided that perhaps an e34 would be a better buy.

I have just made arrangements to go see a 91 M5 with 188thousand km on the clock. the guy wants about 11k US.... so i am wondering if it's worth flogging the 525im 94 and getting the M5 ?? Am i asking for trouble with an expensive High maintanace vehicle...mabe a 540im would be a better option ???


Any comments or suggestions ???

Went to go see the M5...

Not worth it

Car was stolen and recovered... and present owner seems to have done too many "mods" to save money... i suspect i can expect alot of that....
