interior lights

above the flip down sun visor on drivers and passenger side are two lights per side my question is what are they and when or how do you turn them on?

they are supposed to come on when you open the little mirror on the visor but most of the time they are dead for some reason, crappy design

I think the headlights (or parking lights) have to be turned on for the vanity lights to work.

Lights have to be on and the mirror on the backside of the shades has to be open. They work on my car.

Works on mine too, no problem at all. Check the wire connections. The wire on my car is behind the holder for the shade near the A-pillars. 2 torx screws.

Actually I recall one of mine was in need of a bulb to work. Pretty simple. I bought a ten pack from BMA. Most of the lights in the car require the same bulb. It's so nice to have extras on hand when one burns out.

Somtimes the connection in the inner clip (the one that holds the visor in place, not the pivotting outer one) can be a little dicky.
