Hey everybody :p ,
I wonder if this plugs (bosch super 4):
http://www.boschautoparts.co.uk/pcPlug4.asp?c=2&d=1
will fit my 1994 BMW 520 with M50 engine (6 cyl).
It has 4 contacts. Do you guys know if it is of any use having 2 or 4 contacts instead of 1? Or is just hype?
Thanks.

the M50 engine always has spark plugs with at least 2 gnd electrodes.
i'd use NGK BKR6EK, this spark plug is the same that BMW recommends and sells for the M50.

don't waste your $$$ on platinums or other "super" plugs.
Go with stock plugs from ngk

So you say NGK performs better than Bosch super 4? "Super 4" sounds a lot better than "stock NGK" :D
What is your opinion guys, which will perform better? They cost the same (or nearly the same).

I know the platiniums are a waste of money as the engine does not like it. The supers or NGKs would be the safest bet. Some said Denso Iridiums LK20 will fit the M50 engine and gives better top-end, its claimed. These cost about 3 times the Bosch Supers. I think they might last 3 times longer ?.

I'm glad you posted that Pyro! I use Autolites in all my cars and have for years since my Hot Rod days. Never had a bad one. I use them in my BMW's if they are listed for the application. The single element plugs run fine in my 525iT.

i think most everyone who has ran +4s has had a very bad experience with them.

time will tell i suppose, its all good for now though. i do do a lot of HWY k's this may contribute to keeping the plugs clean which seems to be the problem that people encounter with the +4's
