Is this the one you were thinking about buying a month ago? It is beautiful.
Where are you located?

You remember I posted? I actually did post, and I asked if 7500 was too much for this car. I bought it for 7k. Manual transmission is a dream :) I'm in North Dakota, and yes, it's new to me (family lives in Norway, I'm a business student).

No my memory is not that good. If there an interesting post by someone I don't know or there is something I think I remember but am not sure, I click on the persons name and read their profile or look at their prior posts. No memory but great research skill.
You can help out curious people like me by fully filling out your profile. It helps people respond to you posts in more meaningful ways when you actually have issues with your car.
That top pic would make a really nice sig pic for you if there was a way to contain its size so it didn't overwhelm the screen every time you post. I think genphreaks new post to the sticky on how to post pics deals with that issue.
Anyway welcome and congrats on finding a manual. It is wonderful when someone is obviously delighted with their car as you are and as you should be.

I don't think you have anything to complain about. I wouldn't kick your 535 out of my garage.

Thanks guys. My neighbor asked me if the car was new. E34's are a timeless design, especially considering they were designed in the mid-eighties. 20 years ago somebody penned this beautiful shape. Who was it?

You would be better of with a manual 525i than a slushbox 535i. I'm almost sure that a manual, EAT-chipped 525i would smoke a stock slushbox 535i.

Oh boy...Just wait until Jon sees the angle of the pictures...I can sense this one coming already:
"It's not the 80's, man!!!"
hehe.
Very nice subject, though.

Not to be rude, but is it my eyes, or is your driver side front door mis-aligned? It appears as if the front door "lines-up" a bit lower than the fender. Just thought I ask.......

Just thought I ask.......No, you're not rude at all :) Yes, your eyes are fine, the drivers' side door was misaligned at the time pictures were taken.
