E34 woodtrim

Does anyone know where I can get woodtrim for the E34? How do you attach it and how much should I be paying?

What I have been told but don't know for sure is that the 535 doors have clips on them that hold the trim. In the description of one of these products, it appears to be stick-on however.

I think BigKriss put new trim in his car recently. Maybe he can shed some light on this.

...follow the link - but if you do buy it from them, make sure you order the centre console piece to suit your car as there are 3 different types:
1. for a manual - as shown in the photo
2. for the early automatic without the economy mode switch
3. for the later automatic with the economy switch

it has the 540i shift panel, so I have to get an ACS control module eventually to cover it up. You can get a woodtrim brake handle also, which I don't see very often, there around us$150. Also the gear selector is seperate, this is extra also. I used expoxy glue, but I've heard double sided 3M tape is better. Mine's an OEM BMW kit.

it's a momo one, i got it from ebay.au for around aus$185. then you need the hub adapotor to make it work. The steering wheel looks good and it's smaller, steering feels slightly heavier, but you cannot see the speedo over 70kms.

The wood looks great--very, very nice
