Broken bleeder valve

Does anyone have any idea how to drill out a bleeder valve on my '92 525? It sheared clean off tonight when I went to bleed the brakes. I am pissed.

wheres the bleeder...in the caliper? If so its time for a new one. Try getting a can of PB Blaster and soaking the other bleeders and make sure you can get them loose before you only get one caliper.

Yeah, it is the left front caliper. My wife will love it when I tell her that we need a new caliper. Any ideas where to get one and how much they run? Thanks again.

If you don't want to go into the caliper expense you can bleed your brakes as mechanics do when the bleeder valve sheered off in the old days.Just loosen the hose connection while somebody stays on the pedal.Does the same trick just don't let air be sucked in.

i've had varly good luck backing them out with a ez out and pb blaster

yea, just bleed it at the hose. u will get used to it :)

I'm with Winfred. Very easy to get an ez-out and spin the valve out of there, then it's fixed right.

Well I tried the easy out again and we were able to bet it to come loose. Thanks for all your advice. BTW don't buy fluted style easy outs. They are horrible. I twisted two of them around like a pretzel.
