THe one with manual, 80 k kilometers is a 2003!!
I can get a blue 2002 330xi with 40k kilometers, tiptronic, for the same price as a silver 2003 330xi with 80k kilometers.
The blue One has a year left of warranty but I wanted a manual...
What should I do?!!!??!
are the tiptronic auto boxes durable?
It should be a no brainer... tip is the winner based on $$$ and warranty, but I wanted a manual...
what to do...!?????

I would go for the manual since the 4wd adds penty of power-loss in the drive train. It would make the 3 litre powerplant like a 2.5!.
SO much more fun to drive. But if you are doing mostly inner city driving, then by all means go steptronic.
You want a manual. If this was an SMG vs Manual I might defer to SMG... but not the tippy in this case.
Plus, the color is good... I never liked (plain) silver color. Warranty... hmmmm...

You say, "I wanted a manual". IMHO, get the one you want, or you will have regrets.
Six months from now, you will not miss a few hundred dollars, but you will miss not having the car you really wanted.
That's my two cents. :)

Thanks guys... I will most likely be keeping the 540i as well, it is for sale, but this is not the time of year for this car in Montreal - snow is on the way.
I will store it again this year and decide in spring whether to keep or sell.
