Body kit?

Did BBS ever make a body kit for an E-34? I bought a 535i in June, and noted that it had aftermarket side skirts and front bumper. Subtle, yet still noticeable. I recently changed the wheels over to 17" Autec (not Alutec) wheels, and on the inside of the side skirts, etched, was BBS and some german writing. I've been searching for a while to see if it's legit after market kit, but to no avail. Any ideas? Here is the link to when the car was on ebay, hopefully it still works...

I bought the car for 3800, and I've put about 3500 into it for general maintenence and such. The previous owner didn't do any sort of body work so we can't figure out where the side skirts came from...

I looks like you had some work done on you door panels. I've never seen those plugs.

Yes there were a few things done to the car when I got it. There are Hella projector lights, and the door panels, and it looks like someone made a failed attempt at trying to replace the rear speakers and got stumped by the hardest screw to reach. When I went about swapping speakers to upgrade the audio system I found that the farthest screw in the back on the passenger side was stripped bare. So far I've put Polk/Momo 5.25" components front and rear with a Polk amp powering them, and a Kicker KX250.2 powering two JL W0's in the trunk. Clear lights all around with blue bulbs for turn signals, Eibach pro-kit comes in about 3 days, 17" rims, Sony headunit....
Oh, for those interested in angel eyes for the E34... There is a place near me called Redrum customs, and they have (apparently) a plug and play angel eye system for $199 plus shipping. I called the shop and they don't have any available for pickup, but they are in stock in their warehouse. I have a set on the way, when I get them in I'll report back.... They side skirts are in fact BBS. I got this email this morning:

Nat,

BBS did make aero kits during the 80's and into the very early 90's. When
production stop BBS sold all of it's remaining stock to AutoMod Atlanta. I
am not sure how much they have left but they can be reached at 800-241-1832.
